The Arisaig Hotel sits in an enviable position looking over Arisaig Bay to the Isles of Eigg and Muck. An old Jacobite-era coaching inn, the hotel now features 13 en-suite rooms most of which have sea views. The lounge bar stocks around 70 malt whiskies and in the evenings often hosts live music events. A family-friendly hotel, there is also a well-stocked playroom for children to enjoy. In the summer months the Jacobite Steam Train stops at Arisaig, having crossed the Glenfinnan Aqueduct. Also in the summer boat trips run to The Small Isles of Eigg, Muck and Rum, often spotting whales and dolphins.
