The family run Thistle Inn stands in the centre of Stranraer, within a half-mile of the ferry terminal to Belfast and the railway station. With a choice of modern ground-floor chalets or traditional upstairs bedrooms in the inn, the Thistle caters for solo travellers, families and disabled guests. Parking is on-street, and food is served in the well-stocked bar. Arrangements can be made for golfing weekends if required.
